Aerial have just released a new album and forged themselves a new way forward. "Put it this way in headlines" have been rotating on our stereos for almost 2 years, from early demos to finished album. Aerial probably won't make it into your average cynical & cool magazine Top 10 of 2009. They don't belong there with this album and the hopefully never will. Aerial are moving in unpredictable directions in so many ways. They have really proven that real music fans will stick around and eagerly follow a band even if they rarely make the headlines.

rika (wien/goddamn records)
rika are three dudes and one dudette from vienna / austria. they make music together since january 2005. sounds like mid90s emo with some post-rock influences. meandering guitar lines are interrupted by explosive euphoria and die away in spheres of entwined harmonies. think mineral, think appleseed cast, think sometree.
after playing a couple of shows, they recorded their first demo cd-r diy in may 2005, which is sold out by now. in september they did another diy recording session, finishing their s/t full length demo cd-r. since then, rika have played a good amount of shows in and around austria. in the near future they’re gonna release a split 10" with everton.
