Asmus Tietchens
Geb. 1947. Seit 1965 ausübender Komponist elektronischer und
konkreter Musik. Erste LP-Veröffentlichung 1980, seitdem zahlreiche weitere
Tonträger. Im Auftrag des Goethe-Instituts einige Vortragsreisen nach
Südamerika. Seit 1989 Lehrauftrag an der Hochschule f. angewandte
Wissenschaften, Hamburg, FB Gestaltung (Audio-visuelle Kommunikation).
Autodidakt, keine Preise, keine Stipendien.

"Odradek" magazine. It features interviews with artists such as The Hafler Trio or John Duncan and an essay by Asmus Tietchens on the trapfalls of soundscaping.
